After Asmi Shrestha was crowned the Miss Nepal 2016, there is one more addition to the population of Miss Nepal. I wrote about the Miss Nepal who were yet to get married in 2012. After that post, I had been following up the marriages of Miss Nepal.

Miss Nepal Evana Manandhar didn’t win any titled in Miss World beauty contest held Saturday in China. The Miss World 2015 crown was handed over to Miss Spain. The first runner up of the contest was Miss Russia and the second runner up was Miss Indonesia. Apart from top titles, there were various sub-competitions and sub-titles. Evana didn’t win any such titles in the contest.
Evana did a good dance on a Nepali song on the Dance of the World contest. She had also prepared a good video about the earthquake in Nepal for the Beauty with Purpose contest. But, in spite of being good, they didn’t help Evana win titles.
Evana was crowned the 20th Miss Nepal in an event held on April 18, 2015. A week after the crowning ceremony, Nepal went into mourning because of the earthquake on April 25.
Miss Nepal 2015, Evana Manandhar, has finally shared some photos of her earthquake relief efforts.
In the official Facebook page, Evana has written an apologetic message:
Sincere apologies to all the Nepalese friends and supporters here and across the globe in my public page as I have not been able to be active on FB and other social media pages. I have been involved on my individual campaign and relief operations actively working with women and children and the victims of this disastrous calamity of earthquake that has destructed Nepal. Today I would like to share some closer on the spot snaps of my activities and the innocent eyes of the victims where I could share my positivity and listen to their stories. It’s better now then never, bringing hopes into their lives and Nepalese. Working at various villages and communities in and out of valley.
The contestant no. 14 Evana Manandhar has won the 20th edition of Miss Nepal, Miss Nepal 2015 crown. 23-years old Evana has been selected the best out of the 19 contestants of the year 2015 contest. (click for the profiles of the Miss Nepal 2015 contestants).
Dibyata Vaidya has been crowned the Miss Nepal Earth crown for being the first runner up and Medha Koirala has been crowned the Miss Nepal International 2015 crown after being the second runner up in the contest.
The contestant no. 14, Evana Manandhar, is a resident of Kathmandu. 23 years old Evana is 5’4″ tall. Evan has come from the USA to participate in Miss Nepal contest.

There are 19 contestants in this year’s miss Nepal, Miss Nepal 2015. Most of the contestants have either completed their bachelor level are the student of one. There are some contestants who have returned from their foreign residence to participate in the contest.
The youngest contestant is 20 years old (Medha Koirala and Rita KC) and the oldest is 24 years old (Priya Rani Lama). Although 19 years old can also participate in the contest, there are no contestants of that age.
