Nepali model Aastha Pokharel has been nominated in the India Times’ Most Desirable Women in 2014. One of the contestants of Miss Nepal 2014, Aastha, was also featured in Kingfisher Calendar. The Calendar has introduced the Nepali beauty in the Indian entertainment arena.
Because of starting with two ‘A’s Aastha’s name is the first in the list of nominations in the voting page of iTimes.com (visit this page to vote for the Most Desirable Women 2014).
Nepali model Aastha Pokharel is featured in the popular Indian calendar – Kingfisher Calendar. Aastha was selected after she won the Kingfisher Supermodel 2 series.
Kingfisher Supermodel 2 series had run 6 weeks and Aastha was selected among 10 contestants from all over the world. The models in the contest were trined by Bollywood actress Neha Dhupia.

Miss Nepal 2014 contestant Aastha Pokharel started modeling in December of 2010. A Diploma in Nursing graduate, Aastha is active in ramp modeling, advertisement and magazines.

The first big break Aastha was being featured on the cover and the editorial of Navyaata magazine cover in its March 2011 issue.

UPDATE (March 27, 2014): Now, the official finalists of Miss Nepal are 20 after Shreeya Poudyal was removed from the list. The home district of some of the contestants in the list are corrected.
