This year’s Miss Universe 2015 finale went haywire when the announcer Steve Harvey announces the wrong winner. Harvey by mistake announced Miss Columbia the winner of the crown. When she was crowned and was waving to her fans, Harvey realized his mistake and admitted it promptly. Actual winner was Miss Philippines.

The beauty contest among married women, Mrs. Heritage International 2015 crown is awarded to Nepali contestant Rajani Thapa. The contest held on Mangsir 26 in New Delhi was organized by E Planet. The Mrs. Heritage International 2015, Rajani Thapa, had won various national and international awards in various beauty contests so far.
The contest held to promote peace, environment, tourism, culture and heritage, had contestants from all over the world.
After a number of auditions in Green Café and Party Venue in Tinkune, 30 contestants for the upcoming Miss Nurse 2015 beauty contest, were selected. The judges in the audition were Dr. Lochan Karki of Nepal Medical Association, Janaki Shrestha, one of the top 5 Miss Nurse contestants, Rojin Shakya – choreographer, Nirajan Shrestha – Man Hunt International 2011, and Rabi Dhamala – CEO of Next Models Nepal.
Despite of the hardship caused by earthquake and Indian blockade, the organizers were excited by the number of participants in the audition. The contestants will be trained in personality development, media arts, professional duties, health camp, leadership, social network and social works.

Miss Philippines Earth, Angelia Ong, was crowned the Miss Earth 2015 in the event held in Austria on December 5, 2015 evening. Miss Earth 2014, Jamie Herrell crowned the new Miss Earth Angelia in the ceremony.

In the Mrs. Top of the World 2015, held in Turkey from November 13 to November 18, Nepal representative contestant Rajani Thapa was awarded the 4th runner up title. In addition to the title, Rajani also won the Mrs. Diamond Top Of The world award.
Rajani was the winner of the second Mrs. Nepal beauty contest organized by E Planet. With the recent success, Rajani has participated in four different international beauty contests and won at least one title in all of them. In the past Rajani has participated in Mrs. Global 2013. She was awarded Mrs. Philanthropy award. In the Mrs. Universe 2014 contest she won Beautiful Lady award. In Mrs. Global 2014, Rajani had won Leader of the Year award.
The winner of Miss Global International Nepal 2014, Nisha Pathak, is going to represent Nepal in the second Miss Heritage International beauty contest. This year, the contest is going to e held in New Delhi, India from December 6 to December 13. The contest is being organized by E Planet in association with the local partner in India, B For B. Nepali contestant, 19-years old Nisha Pathak is 5 feet and 5 inches tall. The resident of Mali Gaun is currently a student BBA in Padma Kanya College. Pathak likes modeling and stage shows and likes to help poor and needy children.
A resident of Marpha, Menuka Jwarchan has won the Miss Mustang 2015 title in the contest held in October. According to report, the beauty contest was held at the 45th Thak Sports and Cultural Festival held in Tukuche, Mustang. There were nine contestants in the beauty contest. The Thak festival has been one of the important festivals in Thakali community in the area. The beauty contest was added in 2010 to select the beautiful and talented women in the district.
Menuka, 18 years-old Miss Mustang 2015, was awarded Rs. 10,000 cash prize and the crown.

First Miss Queen Lekhnath beauty contest was held in Pokhara on October 30, 2015. In the event held in Pokhara City Hall at 2:30 PM, 14 local contestants competed for the crown.
Sulochana Shrestha was crowned the first Miss Queen Lekhnath. After winning the contest Sulochana was awarded Rs. 50,000 cash prize and gift hampers. Sulochana also gets an opportunity to act in a music video. In addition to the crown, Sulochana was also awarded Miss Most Beautiful sub-title.
The second place winner was contestant number 9, Kopila Gurung. The first runner up Koipla was awarded Rs. 30,000. In addition to the First Runner Up title, Kopila was also awarded Miss Bubbly and Miss Stylist sub-titles.
The third place winner is the contestant number 11, Salina RL Rana. Salina was awarded Rs. 20,000 cash prize. We will update this post with the other title winners later. In addition to Second Runner Up title, Salina was also awarded with Miss Best Personality sub-title.
In the first edition of the Miss National Princess beauty contest, Purnima Rayamajhi was crowned the title holder in an event held on October 3, 2015 in Kathmandu. There were 19 contestants in the race for the crown. After winning the contest, Purnima told that she aims to be a successful actress in future. Purnima loves dancing and acting.
The first runner up of the contest was Jasmine Tamang and the second runner up was Binita Oli. In addition to the first runner up title, Jasmine had also won Miss Catwalk title.
