Madhu Bhattarai, a model and the wife of Rajesh Hamal

Ex-model Madhu Bhattarai became wife of superstar Rajesh Hamal after today’s marriage held at Hotel Annapurna.

At the age of 18, 10-years-ago, Madhu started as a model and participated in Lux Beauty Star 2004. The 5 feet and 6 inches tall beauty came from Biratnagar, completed her bachelor’s degree and lived in a flat in Lazimpat prior to the marriage.

Hamal was one of the judges in the contest. During the contest, the organizer of the contest had randomly asked Rajesh to choose one of the girls and he had chosen Madhu at that time. Madhu was selected top 5 in the contest. In the final question-answer round, Rajesh Hamal asked the questions to the participants. Madhu’s answer to Rajesh Hamal’s question wasn’t satisfactory and she couldn’t win the contest.

After the contest, in the dinner time Rajesh talked to Madhu and offered his visiting card, asking her to call him if she feels like. Madhu’s call happened a day before Rajesh’s birthday. Rajesh asked to meet for his birthday dinner and, the affair started slowly.
