The winner of Miss Chitwan 2017, Suman Gurung, is going to get the direct entry into Miss Nepal 2017 to be held a while later. The application of Miss Nepal 2017 has already been called and the deadline is April 13, 2017. The last Miss Chitwan – Miss Chitwan 2013, Sitoshma Ban, got direct entry in Miss Nepal 2014 and also won a sub title. The beauty contest Miss Chitwan, held on March 24, 2017 was the third edition of the contest. After winning the Miss Chitwan title, Suman Gurung was crowned by the current Miss Nepal Asmee Shrestha. If she could win the Miss Nepal title, Asmee would be the person who will crown her again in the Miss Nepal contest.

- 2nd runner up – Suvekshya Sharma
- 3rd runner up – Sujita Neupane
- 4th runner up – Urusha Adhikari

The application for Miss Nepal 2017 is open now. The eligible Nepali girls can apply for the most prestigious beauty contest in Nepal.
In the beauty contest held among Tamang girls, a resident of Kathmandu, Pinki Ghising has won the title of the 2017 edition. In the beauty contest held in Nepal Pragya Pratisthan on February 4, 2017, Pinki was awarded Rs. 100,000 in cash prize. Pinki was crowned by the ex-Miss Tamang Urmila Lama Yonjan. After winning the title, Pinki was also appointed the brand ambassador of Civil Group.
The first runner up of the contest was Nawang Moktan of Kathmandu. Nawang was awarded Rs. 50,000 in cash prize. The second runner up was Rita Thing of Dhading. Rita was awarded Rs. 25,000 in cash prizes.
The beauty contest among Newar girls, held on February 8, 2017 in Kathmandu had 28 beauties competing to win the 12th Miss Newa crown. In the contest held in Kathmandu participants from all over Nepal had competed for the crown.
In the finale, Ishu Shrestha won the silver crown and Rs. 30,000 in cash prize. The first runner up of the contest was Ojashwi Shrestha and the second runner up was Shristi Khadki. Ojashwi won Rs. 20,000 in cash prize and Shristi won Rs. 15,000 in prize.
Miss Nepal 2016 Asmee Shrestha has gone to the USA to represent Nepal in the Miss World beauty contest. Asmee left Nepal to Washington DC on Friady, November 25, 2016. On leaving Nepal, Asmee told that she will do her best to bring home the crown.
The 66th edition of the Miss World 2016 contest is going to be held on December 18, 2016. In the Miss World 2013, Miss Nepal Ishani Shrestha had won Beauty of Purpose title. That was the most Nepali contestant have ever achieved in the international contest. For this year’s Beauty with purpose title, Asmee had worked in children and education.

Miss International Nepal 2016, Barsha Lekhi, has won the Missiology Public Choice Awards at the Miss International 2016 beauty contest held in Tokyo Japan on October 27, 2016. Barsha was one of the representatives of 69 contestants, who were representing their countries.
What is Miss International ?
Miss International is one of the top 4 beauty contests in the world comprising of the Miss World, Miss Universe and the Miss Earth beauty contests. The Tokyo-based international beauty pageant was held for the first time in 1960 in Long Beach, California, USA. The contestants in the beauty contest are expected to serve as “Ambassadors of Peace and Beauty”, demonstrating tenderness, benevolence, friendship, beauty, intelligence, ability to take action, and, most importantly, a great international sensibility. According to the official document, the ultimate goal of the Miss International beauty pageant is to promote world peace, goodwill, and understanding.

Being fat isn’t always helpful. One example is one of the hottest dancers of her time, Samjhana Budhathoki. Samjhana was in high demand in the stage shows in country and in foreign country.
